Announcement of the New Director

Tsutomu Yamamoto, a leading expert on master sculptor Unkei, has assumed the position of the director of the Hanzomon Museum on April 1, 2022. The former director Atsushi Nishiyama has served the role until the end of March and was appointed Director Emeritus, along with Keizaburo Mizuno, the first director of the Museum.
